Bloody Perfect Day!
Wild f@#$ing day! Absolutely spectacular. Tay went running @ sunrise, I had coffee and went for a swim on the beach. We left on a long motorbike cruise around the island, got lost.... a lot.. Very confusing roads/maps/people everywhere. Found our magical little way on a beat up dirt/concrete road to "Long Beach Treehouse". Wow what a beach, better than most picture perfect places... Better! puppies, pina coladas, sunshine, prawns, taylor, life, sun, bob marley, islands, mountains, monkeys, the whole 9 yards. Not to mention there were like 15 people on a mile stretch of island that you could walk for an hour straight out and still only be up to your knees. We then tried following a map back around the island, took a small path deep into the jungle, which... was a dead end, fallen trees, collapsed road, everything. Kind of scary. Found our way back, drove back around the island (20 km) to White Sand Beach, where she read, i swam, and we had a phenomenal seafood/vegetarian dinner on the beach, overlooking a heavenly sunset on the water. Dark night drive through the jungle, steep hills, city and back to Siam/Lonely beach area where we stay. So good to be home. But imagine this, for 3 hours today I drove a small/thai size neon pink motorbike wearing fluffy pirate clothes, wet salty hair with beautiful Taylor in her bikini holding onto me as we wind through palm trees, small villages, huge hills overlooking an endless expanse of tourqouise water, islands, bays and uninhabited beaches. Sunshine and beauty here in Thailand. Ko Chang was only opened to tourism in 2000 so it is not very developed. What a paradise. I love you all, we leave tomorrow for Bangkok, sweet crowded, polluted, and urban Bangkok.
